Ketchum's many awards include: American Photo magazine's "100 most important people in photography," Audubon's "100 people who shaped the environmental movement in the 20th Century" and the United Nation's "Outstanding Environmental Achievment Award."

Ketchum draws from his over 40 years of experience to teach photography. He leads suportive in-depth critiques, discusses aesthetics of image making (both film and digital), and includes a photoworkshop presentation with Jeanne Gadol, and professional home printing techniques and methods discussion with Larry Brenden.

Our workshop takes advantage of the rugged beauty of the Mendocino coastline for fieldwork opportunities: sandy beaches, off-shore rock stacks, clifftop headland trails, quaint villages, virgin redwood forests, rivers and creeks, acres of sand dunes, and fern canyon trails are all within easy reach of Highway One and the Albion River Inn.
